6″ x 4 Way Breeching Inlet Valve Connection
FRD-4BI Breeching inlets are suitable for installation on dry risers only, in a building for fire fighting purposes, fitted with inlet connection at fire brigade access level and outlet connection at specified points, which is normally dry but capable of being charged with water by pumping from fire service appliances.
Breeching inlets are installed outside the building or any easily accessible area in the building for fire brigade personnel to access the inlet. This inlet is used by the fire brigade personnel to access water. It is normally dry but is used to pump water by charging using fire fighting equipment. Breeching inlets are used in buildings for firefighting purposes, fitted with inlet connection at Civil Defence access level and outlet connection at specified points, which is normally dry but capable of being charged with water by pumping from fire service appliances.
