• Fire Hydrant System

    Fire hydrant system are widely used in fire fighting field, mainly include fire hydrants, landing valves, angle valves, fire hoses, hose reels and jet/spray nozzles, etc. They are used by the fire and emergency services and industrial fire departments to connect to the hydrant to access the water supply for firefighting. Active fire protection equipment are fixed fire protection systems that can be used in an emergency to fight fire.

    Fire hydrant installation consists of a system of pip work connected directly to the water supply main to provide water to each and every hydrant outlet and is intended to provide water for the firemen to fight a fire. The water is discharged into the fire engine form which it is then pumped and sprayed over fire. Where the water supply is not reliable or inadequate, hydrant pumps should be provided to pressurize the fire mains.

Fire Hydrant

Fire hydrant is a fixed fire-fighting facility. Its main function is to control combustible materials, isolate combustion-supporting materials, and eliminate sources of ignition. Divided into indoor fire hydrants and outdoor fire hydrants. Classified as indoor fire hydrant, outdoor fire hydrant, above ground fire hydrant, underground fire hydrant, dry fire hydrant, wet fire hydrant. Operation:

1. Use a wrench to open the water bag connection switch of the underground fire hydrant.


2. Connect the fire hose.


3. Use a wrench to open the outlet valve switch of the underground fire hydrant.


4. Connect the hose mouth and the water nozzle head.


5. At least two or more people should hold the heads of water spray guns and spray water on the fire source until the fire is extinguished.

Fire hose

Fire hoses are hoses used to transport high-pressure water or fire-retardant liquids such as foam. Traditional fire hoses are lined with rubber and wrapped with a braided linen outer surface. Advanced fire hoses are made of polymer materials such as polyurethane. There are metal joints at both ends of the fire hose, which can be connected to another hose to extend the distance or a nozzle to increase the liquid spray pressure.

 

Fire hoses are divided into two categories: lined fire hoses and leaking fire hoses. Lined fire hoses include rubber fire hoses, TPU fire hoses, polyester glue-filled hoses, and hemp plastic-coated hoses. According to the working pressure, it is divided into four categories: 0.8MPa, 1.0MPa, 1.3MPa and 1.6MPa. According to the diameter, it is divided into four categories: 50, 65, 80 or 75, 90 mm. According to the weaving method, it is divided into two categories: plain weave water belt and twill water belt. The length of each water belt is generally 20 meters.
