Standpipes Brief Introduction
forede® Standpipes for underground hydrants are made for drawing water from the local supply mains. Standpipes for drinking water security are equipped with bonnets with integrated high performance non-return valves. In each adapter at the standpipe outlet, one or two ventilation valves are integrated.

forede® Single Fire Hydrant Standpipe, commonly known as single head standpipe, is made from quality aluminium alloy and is a simple solution to bringing water above ground from a mains underground hydrant. With a single standard UK 2.5" instantaneous outlet onto,you can securely connect the layflat fire hose.The single fire hydrant standpipe itself connects to the female BSRT(British Standard Round Thread) outlet of the hydrant and is only suitable for use during a fire. Supplied with a blank plug and chian to protect outlets from dust and rubbish.
