The FOREDE® Brand 4800LPM water cannon nozzle is a high-flow heavy-duty fire monitor nozzle engineered for large-scale industrial fire suppression, developed for integration with fixed, mobile and vehicle-mounted fire water monitors. Designed to deliver up to 4800 litres per minute (equivalent to approximately 1270 GPM), this nozzle is built to handle severe fire hazards where massive water discharge and long projection distance are mandatory to contain fires at a safe distance for firefighters. It is available in both Selectable and constant flow versions, giving system designers flexibility to match different fire protection layouts and water supply conditions.
Constructed from hard anodized aluminum alloy, the nozzle core achieves outstanding mechanical strength, abrasion resistance and anti-corrosion performance. The special anodized surface treatment prevents oxidation under long-term exposure to humid, salty or chemical-laden environments, extending service life even in offshore platforms, petrochemical zones and coastal port facilities. Paired with SS304 stainless steel monitor bodies (SS316L stainless steel optional for more corrosive sites), the whole assembly maintains stable performance under continuous high-pressure operation. The nozzle supports two selectable discharge patterns: solid straight stream and wide fog spray up to 120 degrees. The straight stream provides exceptional jet penetration and long throwing distance, reaching 80–85 meters at rated working pressure of 10 bar, ideal for attacking deep-seated fires in tank farms and large warehouses. The wide fog pattern creates a dense water curtain for rapid cooling, heat absorption, vapour suppression and personnel shielding, which is critical for containing flammable liquid fires and reducing radiant heat transfer to adjacent equipment.
