Products Description
forede ® MAZ-4 Quad Stacked Tips

The MAZ-4 Quad Stacked Tips is a four-stage modular smooth bore nozzle designed by forede. Its four-level gradually tapered channel stabilizes water flow step by step to form a dense, compact straight jet. Crafted from anodized aluminum alloy, this lightweight structure resists outdoor wear and chemical erosion while maintaining stable performance under 8 Bar rated working pressure.

This MAZ-4 Quad Stacked Tips comes with four independent orifice sections for multi-level flow regulation. The factory preset combination includes 2-1/10", 1-3/4", 1-1/2" and 1-3/8" tips. Operators can reorganize these components to adjust water output, with the maximum flow reaching 4800 LPM. The 2.5-inch female NH inlet connects perfectly with most international fixed fire monitor equipment.

The four-piece modular design brings unprecedented flexibility for on-site adjustment. Without fragile moving internal parts, the MAZ-4 Quad Stacked Tips rarely suffers from clogging or breakdowns. It is tailored for high-precision deluge fire protection systems in petrochemical plants and large tank farms, delivering stable long-range jet power for large industrial fire suppression.

Frequently Ased Questiones

1. What unique advantage does the four-stage tapered channel bring to jet stability?

Four gradual diameter reductions eliminate turbulent flow and air mixing inside the channel. The MAZ-4 Quad Stacked Tips produces an extremely compact water column, which effectively resists crosswind interference and maintains a consistent jet trajectory in open-air high-wind fire sites.

2. What assembly rule must be followed when stacking the four orifice tips?

You must arrange the four sections from the largest orifice down to the smallest one from bottom to top. If you reverse the installation order, sudden channel contraction will trigger severe turbulence and drastically shorten the jet range. Only descending diameters guarantee optimal water stream quality.

3. How can we clear internal sediment after long-term outdoor use?

You can fully unscrew all four threaded joints to fully expose the smooth inner waterway. Flush the passages with high-pressure clean water to wash away dirt and mineral deposits. No complicated disassembly tools are needed, and reassembly takes only a few minutes.

4. Why is the quad-tip model more suitable for automatic unmanned fire systems than 2-stage or 3-stage nozzles?

Four separate tips offer far more flow combinations. The MAZ-4 Quad Stacked Tips can be pre-configured to match multiple water supply pressure values, so it adapts automatically to fluctuating pipeline flow without manual intervention, perfectly matching unmanned deluge fire installations.

5. Will four consecutive threaded joints cause obvious pressure loss at maximum flow?

Every connecting thread has smooth transitional surfaces without sharp steps. Under the rated 8 Bar working pressure, the MAZ-4 Quad Stacked Tips keeps pressure loss extremely low across all four joints, so the maximum 4800 LPM flow can be fully converted into long-distance penetrating jets.
