The QLD8.0/20-IV Automatic Fire nozzles Stabilises varying pressures to give constant tip pressure which also make maximum use of water without the need of constant adjustment.The powerful fog pattern makes of excellent general fire fighting.
The QLD8.0/20-IV Automatic Fire nozzles also have a low expansion foam attachment available which can be clipped to the bumper to produce excellent quality low expansion foam.
This type fire nozzle has straight stream and fog pattern, operator can change the jetting pattern by swiveling the adjustor, as following picture shows:

Q:How water pressure important?
A: Water pressure controls how far and how fast water moves as well as how deeply water penetrates burning materials. For firefighting, more flow rate of water available means more extinguishing agent to cool the fire's fuel. Each nozzle has an expected, or rated, gallonage at a rated pressure. For example, a nozzle may deliver 60 LPM at 6 Bar, and 475LPM at 7 Bar.
