HFC-227ea is gaseous at room temperature, colorless, odorless, non-conductive, non-corrosive, has no environmental protection restrictions, and has a short atmospheric retention period. The fire extinguishing mechanism is mainly to interrupt the combustion chain, and the fire extinguishing speed is extremely fast, which is beneficial to the rescue and protection of precision electronic equipment and valuables. The non-toxic reaction (NOAEL) concentration of HFC-227ea is 9%, and the toxic reaction (LOAEL) concentration is 10.5%. The design concentration of HFC-227ea is generally less than 10%, which is safe for human body. It is characterized by good cleanliness (completely vaporized in the atmosphere without leaving residues), good gas-phase electrical insulation and good physical properties suitable for use in fire extinguishing systems. In the early 1990s, the industrialized countries preferred to replace the halon fire extinguishing system with HFC-227ea and achieved success.
HFC-227ea fire extinguishing device is divided into two types: with pipe network and without pipe network (cabinet type, hanging type).
Among them, the pipe network system is divided into an internal pressure storage system and an external pressure storage system. The main difference is that the transmission distance of the fire extinguishing agent is different. The transmission distance of the internal pressure storage system is generally not more than 30 meters, and the transmission distance of the external pressure storage system can reach 150 meters.

Agent Cylinder
The fire extinguishing agent cylinder filled by JUNMO with HFC-227ea, and super-pressurised with dry nitrogen to 25 bar @ 21℃ (360 psi @ 70°F) and 42 bar @ 21℃ (600 psi @ 70°F).
JUNMO Agent Cylinders sharing the same manifold shall be equal in size and fill density. Cylinders are finished in red and are available in various sizes.
