The dry riser gate valve, with a BSP threaded male inlet, is corrosion-resistant to ensure its longevity, thanks to the gunmetal construction which means it is suitable for onshore and offshore installations. Often called a landing valve, it is manufactured in accordance with BS5041 Part 2 and connects to standard layflat firefighting hoses thanks to the British Instantaneous female outlet.

Designed for wet and dry riser hydrant systems, the gate valve comes with a cap and chain as standard, meaning the outlet is kept clear of dirt and rubbish. The hand wheel on top makes it easy to control the flow of water, opening and closing the valve. The inlet is a male BSP thread, measuring 2.5 inches (64mm), and with other inlet options available, you'll find what you need to fit your specific system.
