Blabber Mouth Foam Monitors

Available in three models – TFS1.AY024, TFS1.AY032, and TFS1.AY040 – the Blabber Mouth Foam Fire Monitors offer flow rates of 1440 LPM, 1920 LPM, and 2400 LPM respectively, all operating at a consistent working pressure of 8 bar. This ensures a steady and reliable water or foam stream, capable of reaching wide distances.

The water jetting ranges span from 55 meters to 65 meters, while the foam jetting ranges extend from 42 meters to 55 meters, providing versatile firefighting options tailored to various emergency scenarios. Constructed from high-quality stainless steel, the body guarantees robustness and long-lasting resistance to harsh conditions.

Each monitor is equipped with a 3"/4" BS4504 flange inlet, ensuring easy installation and compatibility with standard firefighting systems. The Blabber Mouth Foam Fire Monitors are engineered to deliver exceptional control, accuracy, and volume, making them an indispensable asset for both industrial and municipal fire protection needs.

How to Use the Blabber Mouth Foam Fire Monitors?

#### 1. **Installation and Setup**

- Ensure the foam monitor is securely installed using the appropriate flange inlet connection (3" or 4" BS4504). Tighten the connections firmly to prevent leaks.
- Connect the monitor to a reliable foam concentrate supply system and water source capable of delivering the recommended flow rates and working pressure (8 bar).
- Confirm that all control valves are in the closed position before initiating water or foam flow.

#### 2. **Preparation Before Operation**

- Check that the stainless steel body and nozzle are free from any obstruction or damage.
- Verify that the foam concentrate is compatible and mixed properly with water according to your firefighting requirements.
- Ensure all operators are familiar with the monitor's controls, including aiming direction and flow adjustment mechanisms.

#### 3. **Operation**

- Gradually open the water supply valve to start the water flow, observing the monitor's response.
- Slowly introduce foam concentrate into the system, allowing the monitor to blend foam and water to create an effective foam stream.
- Aim the foam jet towards the base of the fire or designated hazard with smooth, controlled movements for maximum coverage.
- Utilize the monitor's range capabilities:
- Aim for distances up to 42 m for TFS1.AY024, 48 m for TFS1.AY032, and 55 m for TFS1.AY040 when foam jetting.
- For water jetting, expect effective streams reaching 55 m, 60 m, and 65 m respectively, ensuring you maintain a safe distance.

#### 4. **Adjustment and Control**

- Use the monitor's control mechanism to adjust the direction and angle of the jet for optimal firefighting coverage.
- Monitor the flow rate and pressure to maintain consistent performance. The monitor is designed to operate efficiently at 8 bar pressure.
- Conduct periodic sweeping motions to cover larger fire or spill areas, leveraging the monitor's long-range foam projection abilities.

#### 5. **Post-Operation Care**

- Once firefighting or training is complete, slowly shut off the foam concentrate supply and then the water supply to prevent water hammer.
- Drain any remaining foam solution from the monitor.
- Clean the nozzle and external surfaces to maintain the stainless steel body's durability and appearance.
- Store the monitor in a safe, accessible location for future readiness.
