A:For foam monitors, the foam solutions used are corrosive in nature, and if monitor is not flushed properly after operation, this can cause corrosive, which may cause problems during operation.
Normal maintenance activities include –
1) Periodic visual inspections (at least monthly);
2) Proper flushing of monitors after operation;
3) Greasing of swivel joints at specified intervals;
4) Periodic replacement of rubber washers/ gaskets as required by site conditions.
