Aalloy Hose Shut Off Valve
forede® Alloy Hose Shut Off Valve is a critical flow control component engineered for fire suppression systems, designed to regulate and terminate water flow in fire hoses with exceptional precision. Constructed from hard-anodized aluminum alloy-a material chosen for its optimal balance of lightweight performance and structural resilience-it serves as the intermediate link between fire hoses and nozzles, enabling firefighters to adjust water delivery dynamically during emergencies .
The valve operates on a quarter-turn ball valve mechanism: a hollow metal ball with a full-bore waterway rotates 90 degrees within the alloy body to control flow. When aligned with the inlet/outlet, the ball permits unobstructed water passage; rotating it perpendicular shuts off flow instantly. Key design features include a 360° swivel inlet that maintains maneuverability even after tightening, compatible with global coupling standards (Storz, NH, INST, GOST) to fit diverse forede nozzles and hoses .
