- **Check Water or Foam Supply:** Confirm that the water or foam supply is sufficient and the hoses are properly connected.
- **Verify Working Pressure:** Ensure the water pressure is maintained at 0.8 MPa for optimal performance, with the capability to handle up to 1.6 MPa if needed.

#### 2. **Positioning and Setup**
- **Confirm Fixed Installation:** This monitor is designed for fixed mounting, so ensure it is securely installed on a stable platform or fire truck mount.
- **Set the Direction:** Adjust the monitor's horizontal and vertical angles to aim towards the target fire area. With a throw range exceeding 65 meters (water), precise aiming is critical for effective reach.
- **Select Flow Type:** Choose between water or foam output depending on the fire type. Foam application is especially effective for flammable liquid fires and provides a throw range of about 60 meters.

- **Control and Adjust Aim:** Use the monitor's control handles (manual or hydraulic) to adjust the stream direction smoothly, ensuring coverage of the fire zone.
- **Maintain Steady Flow:** The 2400 LPM flow rate delivers a powerful stream, capable of suppressing large fires efficiently. Keep the flow consistent for best results.

#### 4. **Post-Operation**
- **Shut Down Properly:** Close the supply valve to stop the water or foam flow.
- **Drain Residual Water:** Clear any residual water from the monitor to prevent corrosion or freezing in cold conditions.
