FOREDE PS100A Series A Fixed Manual Geared Fire Water Monitor is a firefighting equipment used in the protection of property and people from fire. It is a device that directs a stream of water or other fire-extinguishing agent onto a fire. A fixed manual geared fire water monitor is fixed to a permanent position using a swivel joint and is operated manually. The monitor is designed with a gearhead to provide an effective flow rate up to 1500 gallons per minute. It is typically connected to a water supply source such as a fire hydrant and can be controlled from a distance using a remote control or manually.
