The forede® ZSTZ 161 Q5 J, 11.2 K Upright and Pendent Sprinklers described in this data sheet are standard response, standard coverage, decorative 5 mm glass bulb-type spray sprinklers designed for use in light or ordinary hazard, commercial occupancies such as banks, hotels, and shopping malls. Chrome coatings can be used to extend the life of the brass components used in ZSTZ 161 Q5 J, 11.2 K Sprinklers beyond that which would otherwise be obtained when exposed to corrosive atmospheres.

Standard coverage fire sprinkler has specified protection area in NFPA 13 and GB 5135.1 specification, with max 20m2 for upright and pendent sprinkler, and 18m2 for sidewall sprinkler.

02.What is the difference between standard coverage and extended coverage sprinklers?

An extended coverage title policy extends protection to the insured for those possesory or other rights, unrecorded easements and material or labor liens, which is not provided in the Standard Coverage form.

03.How do I calculate sprinkler coverage?

Sprinkler spacing is measured by radius. The radius of a sprinkler is measured from the position of the sprinkler to the edge of the spray pattern (how far the water is thrown by the sprinkler). This means that a sprinkler with a radius of 15' with a full nozzle will actually cover a 30' area.
