The Model ESFR 202/68°C P Sprinklers are primarily used for ceiling-only sprinkler protection of (but not limited to) the following storage applications: • most encapsulated or non-encapsulated common materials including cartoned, unexpanded plastics. • some storage arrangements of rubber tires, roll paper, flammable liquids, aerosols, and automotive components.

Early Suppression Fast Response (ESFR) fire sprinkler systems are ceiling mounted fire sprinklers that are designed to eliminate the need for in-rack fire sprinklers in warehouses with high piled storage. ESFR systems provide a higher level of protection than conventional sprinkler systems. Compared with other nozzles, the response speed of the fast response early suppression nozzle is faster, and it mainly emphasizes the early suppression effect. Especially in the early stages of a fire, even if only a few sprinklers are activated, enough water can quickly act on the fire or, if not extinguished, suppress it to an acceptable level.
