Products Description

Types of Foam Concentrate
Foam concentrates are categorized into several types, each designed for specific fire-fighting applications. The most common types include Protein Foam Concentrate (P), Fluoroprotein Foam Concentrate (FP), Synthetic Foam Concentrate (S), Aqueous Film-Forming Foam Concentrate (AFFF), Film-Forming Fluoroprotein Foam Concentrate (FFFP), and Alcohol-Resistant Foam Concentrate (AR).
Protein Foam Concentrate (P) is made from animal protein hydrolysate and is effective in extinguishing non-water-soluble liquid fires. Fluoroprotein Foam Concentrate (FP) enhances the performance of Protein Foam by adding fluorocarbon surfactants, providing faster fire suppression. Synthetic Foam Concentrate (S) is formulated with surfactants and stabilizers, suitable for oil field and refinery fires.
Aqueous Film-Forming Foam Concentrate (AFFF) forms a protective water film on fuel surfaces, enhancing extinguishing efficiency. Film-Forming Fluoroprotein Foam Concentrate (FFFP) combines the benefits of both FP and AFFF. Alcohol-Resistant Foam Concentrate (AR) is specifically designed to resist the destructive effects of alcohol-based fuels.
