Generally, the distance between the upper or lower nozzles is not more than 3.6 meters and not less than 2.4 meters. The distance between the nozzle and the wall is not more than 1.8 meters.
When installing fire sprinkler heads, generally keep a 360 cm diameter distance between each fire sprinkler head, that is to say, a 180 cm radius distance should be maintained. The fire sprinkler head should generally keep a distance of 30 cm from the wall.
Sprinklers should be arranged on the roof or under the suspended ceiling where they are easy to come into contact with the hot air of the fire and are conducive to uniform water distribution. When there is an obstacle near the nozzle, it shall comply with the provisions of Section 7.2 of this code or add a nozzle to compensate the water spray intensity.
The sprinkler arrangement of the fire separation water curtain shall ensure that the width of the water curtain is not less than 6m. When water curtain nozzles are used, the nozzles shall not be less than 3 rows; when open sprinklers are used, the nozzles shall not be less than 2 rows. The nozzles of the protective cooling water curtain should be arranged in a single row.
In addition to the suspended ceiling sprinklers and the sprinklers installed under the suspended ceiling, the distance between the splash plate and the top plate of the vertical and pendant standard coverage sprinklers and the extended coverage sprinklers shall be 75mm-150mm. When sprinkler heads are arranged on the plane below the bottom surface of beams or other obstacles, the distance between the splash plate and the top plate should not be greater than 300mm, and the vertical distance between the splash plate and the bottom surface of beams and other obstacles should be 25mm-100mm.
