Description
A manual water monitor is a firefighting tool used to extinguish fires by directing a steady stream of water or foam onto the flames. It consists of a hand-operated nozzle or valve attached to a large diameter hose or pipeline, which can be controlled by a single firefighter or a team of firefighters. The nozzle can be adjusted to produce different spray patterns and flow rates to maximize the effectiveness of the water stream. Manual water monitors are commonly used in larger industrial facilities or outdoor settings like airfields and ships where fires can be particularly fierce.
Steps for usage
1. Before use, check whether the inlet flange of the spray gun is sealed with the external connecting flange with bolts.
2. Observe the pressure gauge and adjust the water pressure of the pipeline to the nominal pressure range.
3. When DC injection is required, rotate the DC injection wheel clockwise. If using a spray gun, turn the serial number DC spray gun wheel counterclockwise.
4. If you need to adjust the flow rate during operation, just press the limit handle from right to left, then turn the flow adjustment sleeve to the desired flow rate, press the limit lever from left to right, and turn the flow adjustment sleeve clockwise to the small flow rate. To achieve the desired flow jet.
5. When using, to adjust the injection target, just adjust the horizontal position and tilt angle.
Place of use
Suitable for installation in industrial and mining enterprises, warehouses, oil fields, storage tanks, fire trucks, fire boats, oil terminals and other places.
