Description
Non-Rising Stem Gate Valve is also called the rotary stem gate valve. The stem and the nut are inside the valve body and are in direct contact with the fluid. The gate is the opening and closing part of the concealed stem gate valve. When opening and closing, it is realized by rotating around the valve stem. The movement direction of the gate is perpendicular to the movement direction of the fluid, and the non-rising stem gate valve cannot be used to adjust the medium, it can only be in the fully open or fully closed state.
Working Principle
The height of the concealed stem gate valve will remain unchanged during work, and the space for installing it is small. It is suitable for making a large diameter or installing in a working environment that requires gate valves. The valve stem nuts are all set on the gate plate. When the hand wheel starts to rotate, it will drive the valve stem to rotate, so that the gate plate is lifted through the bottom end of the valve and the guide groove on the valve disc, and the rotational motion is converted into linear motion. It is to convert the operating torque into operating thrust.
After the valve is opened, when the gate lift height reaches 1:1 times the diameter of the valve, the medium can flow smoothly, but there is no way to monitor it during operation. Generally, the user uses the top of the stem as a sign when using the hidden stem gate valve, so usually in order to ensure the smooth and safe operation of the gate valve, it will turn back and do 1~2 rotations at the top position action.
