Fire Water Divider

Fire water divider (also called dividing breeching, fire wye, hose divider) is a portable fire-fighting fitting to split one main water supply line into multiple independent branch water lines. It has one inlet and 2/3/4 outlets. Each outlet is fitted with an independent shut-off valve (ball valve / gate valve). Firefighters can open or close each branch separately to control water flow to different fire hoses or fire monitors.

It takes one large-diameter water supply from fire pump, hydrant or fire truck, then divide it into 2, 3 or 4 smaller water outlets. Multiple fire hoses/nozzles / fire monitors can work at the same time from one water source.

Body: Cast aluminum alloy (most common), brass option available

Valve: Ball valve / handwheel gate valve on each outlet

Working pressure: Normally 1.6 MPa; high pressure version up to 2.5 MPa
