Technical Parameters

Wet alarm valve is a cover plate alarm valve, which is mainly composed of a valve body, a seat ring and a valve clack. The entire valve body is divided into an upper and a lower cavity by the valve clack. The upper cavity (system side) is connected to the system pipe network. The lower cavity (water supply side) is connected to the water source, and the valve body is equipped with a seat ring. On the seat ring, there are a plurality of groove holes leading to the water inlet pipe of the retarder.

When the system is in the servo state, the groove or hole on the seat ring is covered and closed by the valve flap, and the alarm water channel leading to the hydraulic alarm bell is blocked; when the upper and lower pressure difference reaches a certain value, the valve flap opens ( Differential pressure start), the water flows from the water supply side to the system side, the alarm bell alarms, and the water extinguishing system sprays water; when the upper and lower pressures are frequently opened, there is a small water make-up valve on the valve disc. When leakage or water source pressure fluctuates, the water supply valve can be used to supply water to the pipe network to balance the pressure in the upper and lower chambers, stabilize the valve flap, and avoid false alarms.


2.1.2 Retarder Chamber

The retarder is a cylindrical water storage container with a water inlet and a water outlet. The lower end has a water inlet, which is connected to the alarm port of the alarm valve, and the upper end has a water outlet, which is connected to a hydraulic alarm. Due to the fluctuations in the pressure of the water supply source of the system, the valve flap can be opened instantaneously. The water flows through the grooves and small holes on the seat ring and first enters the retarder. Because the water source pressure fluctuates for a short time, the valve flap can automatically reset soon. (Closed), so the amount of water entering the retarder is very small. The water can be collected by the retarder and drained through the drain at the bottom. The buffer time of the retarder prevents the water pressure fluctuations from causing the error of the hydraulic alarm. Call the police. The time required for water to flow from the water inlet of the retarder to the water outlet is the delay time, this device is 5~90S, after the water flow stops, the water left in the retarder is discharged from the drain port, and the required time for draining (draining time) ) Less than 5min


2.1.3, hydraulic alarm bell

The hydraulic alarm is a hydraulically driven mechanical device. It is composed of shell, impeller, bell hammer and bell cover. When the valve flap is opened, the water flow enters the retarder through the grooves and small holes on the seat ring. After being full, it continues to flow to the water inlet of the hydraulic alarm bell. Under a certain water pressure, the impeller is pushed to drive the bell hammer to rotate, so that The bell hammer hits the aluminum bell continuously to sound an alarm bell.
