The wet alarm valve is a one-way valve that only allows water to flow into the sprinkler system in one direction and alarms at a specified flow rate. The wet alarm valve usually equals the water pressure before and after the valve disc (the water passes through the water pressure balance hole in the guide pipe to keep the water pressure balance before and after the valve disc).

Installation points

1. Sufficient maintenance space should be reserved around the installation location of the wet alarm valve, delayer and hydraulic alarm bell to ensure repair in the shortest downtime. The height of the alarm valve from the ground is 1.2m.

2. The hydraulic alarm bell is a main component of the wet alarm valve. The hydraulic alarm bell should be located near the manned place. The connecting pipe with the alarm valve should have a diameter of 20mm, the total length should not be greater than 20m, the installation height should not exceed 2m, and drainage facilities should be provided.

3. The installation distance, installation height and pipeline diameter between the wet alarm valve, delayer and hydraulic alarm bell should ensure that their functions meet the relevant requirements.

4. Wet alarm valves, delays and hydraulic alarm bells should be able to use common tools for installation and on-site maintenance.
