Overview
The forede® Brand FRD-DRIH dry riser inlet horizontal cabinet is full cabinets designed for easy access to the dry riser valve. The cabinet has a 38mm surrounding flange and is available in red RAL3002 (DRC010) or in Stainless Steel (DRC011) finish.
Dry riser inlet horizontal cabinet is painted with Epoxy RAL3002 powder paint with UV protection to prevent colour fading. The inlet cabinet and breeching inlet should be positioned as closely as possible to the rising main in order to reduce the pressure loss and within easily accessible reach of the attending fire appliance which should be in an un-obscured sight of fire crews and no more than 18 metres away from the nearest vehicular access, the cabinets have a wired Georgian glass door complete with a slam shut lock and stainless steel piano hinge.
