Overview
forede® XFS2.AP080 electric aspirating foam monitor operates by receiving a premixed foam solution (water + foam concentrate) from a foam proportioning system. As the solution passes through the aspirating nozzle, ambient air is drawn in through air-intake openings and mixed with the foam solution, producing expanded foam.
Electric motors control the horizontal rotation (pan) and vertical movement (tilt) of the monitor, allowing operators to accurately target fire sources from a safe distance. The discharged foam forms a stable blanket that suppresses flames, cools surfaces, and prevents re-ignition.
