Overview
forede® jumbo water curtain nozzle is a large-diameter, ultra-high-flow open-type deluge fire sprinkler head that sprays out a thick fan-shaped/semi-circular water curtain that spreads upwards. Its core function is fire separation, heat insulation and smoke isolation, and blocking of radiant heat. It does not extinguish fire directly, but rather uses a water wall to isolate the fire area from equipment/personnel.

Oil refineries, oil and gas stations, LNG storage tank areas

Q: What standard inlet sizes do you supply?
Standard flanged connections: DN65 (2.5"), DN80 (3"), DN100 (4"). Custom sizes are available upon special project request.
Q: What is the standard working pressure range?
Working pressure: 4 bar ~ 14 bar; optimal design pressure for most projects: 7 bar. Pressure lower than 4 bar will cause broken, thin water curtain with poor shielding effect.
Q: What is the flow rate at 7 bar working pressure?
DN65: 1000 LPM
DN80: 2000 LPM
DN100: 3000 LPM
Q: What is the coverage range and spray angle?
Fixed spray angle 120° wide fan shape; Max horizontal spray distance 18m, vertical height up to 8.5m. Multiple nozzles can be arranged in a row to form uninterrupted long water curtain.
Q: What water quality is required for the nozzle?
Clean industrial fire water with low impurity content. A filter must be installed upstream to avoid sediment, rust or debris blocking the flow guide plate.
