Overview
The Forede Pressure Proportioning Foam Bladder Tank (PHYM series) is a fixed bladder-type foam proportioning equipment for fire protection, widely used in Class B liquid fire suppression systems. It consists of a steel pressure vessel, a flexible rubber bladder inside, foam proportioner, inlet/outlet piping, valves and pressure gauges. The foam concentrate is stored inside the rubber bladder, while water fills the space between the bladder and steel tank shell. When fire water pump starts, pressurized water enters the tank and squeezes the elastic bladder. The foam concentrate inside is pressed out and delivered to the proportioner. The proportioner mixes foam concentrate and fire water at a fixed ratio (normally 3% or 6%) to form foam solution for fire extinguishing.
