Products Description

Overview
forede® Twin Foam Bladder Tank System is a fire protection foam proportioning system consisting of two foam bladder tanks connected to a common piping network. It is designed to supply foam concentrate and mix it with water at a predetermined proportion to produce foam solution for firefighting.
Unlike a conventional single foam bladder tank system, a twin-tank arrangement provides greater foam concentrate storage capacity and can offer operational flexibility for large-scale fire protection installations.
Twin foam bladder tank systems are commonly considered for industrial facilities where reliable foam firefighting capability and a substantial foam concentrate supply are required.

FAQ
Q: What mixing ratios does this twin bladder unit support?
Standard setting for **3% and 6% foam concentrate (AFFF, AR-AFFF, fluorine-free foam)**, proportioning accuracy meets NFPA 11 and EN13565 requirements. We configure the proportioner according to customer's foam type and mixing ratio requirement before delivery.
Q: What is the working pressure range and test pressure?
Standard working pressure: **0.6–1.2 MPa.
Hydraulic strength test pressure: 1.5 MPa; sealing test pressure: 1.32 MPa. Custom pressure rating available on request for special marine or high-pressure projects.
Q: What materials are used for tank shell and internal bladder?
Tank shell: Carbon steel Q235B with anti-corrosion epoxy coating; stainless steel 304/316 is optional for coastal, offshore and corrosive environments.
Bladder: EPDM rubber as standard, compatible with most common foam concentrates. Special NBR or custom elastomer bladder can be selected for specific foam chemicals.
