Overview
Foam Storage Bladder Tank is an important component of a fixed foam fire suppression system. It is designed to store foam concentrate and supply it to a proportioning system at the required pressure and flow rate. By accurately mixing foam concentrate with water, the system produces foam solution that can be discharged through foam chambers, foam sprinklers, foam pourers, and fire monitors to suppress fires involving flammable liquids.
Foam storage bladder tanks are widely used in petroleum refineries, oil storage terminals, chemical plants, power stations, airports, and other industrial facilities where flammable liquid fire hazards exist.

Q: What material options are available for tank shell and internal bladder?
Tank shell: Standard Q235B carbon steel with anti-corrosion epoxy coating. 304 / 316 stainless steel is optional for coastal, offshore and corrosive environments.
Internal bladder: EPDM rubber as standard. NBR rubber is optional for special foam chemicals.
Piping, flanges and valves: Carbon steel or SS304 configurable per project requirement.
Q: What capacity ranges can you offer for foam storage bladder tank?
Standard available capacities: 500L, 1000L, 1500L, 2000L, 3000L, 5000L, 10000L.
Customized volume from 300L up to 10,000L is acceptable. We can supply single vertical tank or twin/dual parallel bladder tank set for uninterrupted foam supply. Vertical layout is standard; horizontal design available upon special request.
Q: What is the standard working pressure and test pressure?
Standard operating pressure range: 0.6 ~ 1.2 MPa.
Hydrostatic strength test pressure: 1.5 MPa.
Tightness sealing test pressure: 1.32 MPa.
Higher pressure rating can be customized for marine and offshore projects.
Q: What accessories are normally equipped on foam storage bladder tank?
Standard accessories: Foam filling port, foam outlet, water inlet, vent valve, drain valve, pressure gauge, level indicator, lifting lugs, support legs, isolation valves.
Optional accessories: Low level alarm switch, remote level transmitter, signal butterfly valve, sampling port, pressure switch.
